Ingredients
1 1/4 pounds lean ground turkey
1 1/2 cup packed fresh spinach, finely chopped
4 ounces crumbled feta cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs, crushed crackers or panko
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 tbsp olive or avocado oil
4 hamburger buns, toasted
Mayo, thin cucumber slices, red onion slices for serving
Directions

1. In a large bowl, gently mix together ground turkey, spinach, feta cheese, garlic, bread crumbs, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper, and olive oil until combined. Divide into 4 equal portions (approximately 4 inches in diameter, 1 inch thick.) Make a dimple in the patties to avoid “puffy patty syndrome”. They should look like little Frisbees.

2. Transfer to a parchment-lined plate and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour or the freezer for 20 minutes.

3. Preheat a grill to medium-high and oil the grates really well or oil a pan on the stove top and preheat to medium high.

4. Grill or pan fry burgers for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until no longer pink, juices run clear, and an internal temperature of 165 degrees F is reached on an instant read thermometer.

5. Serve on buns with mayonnaise, cucumber, and red onion.
